Tim Callies studied at the Peter Behrends School of Arts and is co-founder of Callies Gräfe Design.
He gained his first experience in Germany's fashion city Düsseldorf where he worked as a freelance architect for renowned firms such as RKW, Enzenauer, MDK and Thomas Kesseler. After completing his studies, his work became more and more focused on the field of interior design. In 2004, the opportunity arose to take on a leading position in the interior design department for private jet interiors at Lufthansa Technik in Hamburg. During the 3 years he lived in the Hanseatic city he developed his talent to create high quality interior concepts for different tastes and cultures. He then moved to Zurich, Switzerland, where he worked for 4 years for Comlux, one of the world's leading aircraft charter and completion companies as Head of Design.
In January 2013 he founded CALLIES DESIGN and in 2016 joined forces with his former student friend Marc Gräfe to launch Callies Gräfe Design.
He gets his unique ideas from traveling around the world. He knows how to transform past design trends into new, customized interiors, taking into account the cultural environment. One of his works has already been honored with the DESIGN ET AL Interior Award for Private Jet Cabins.
