Tim Callies studied at the Peter Behrends School of Arts and is co-founder of Callies Gräfe Design.

He gained his first experience in Germany's fashion city Düsseldorf where he worked as a freelance architect for renowned firms such as RKW, Enzenauer, MDK and Thomas Kesseler. After completing his studies, his work became more and more focused on the field of interior design. In 2004, the opportunity arose to take on a leading position in the interior design department for private jet interiors at Lufthansa Technik in Hamburg. During the 3 years he lived in the Hanseatic city he developed his talent to create high quality interior concepts for different tastes and cultures. He then moved to Zurich, Switzerland, where he worked for 4 years for Comlux, one of the world's leading aircraft charter and completion companies as Head of Design.

In January 2013 he founded CALLIES DESIGN and in 2016 joined forces with his former student friend Marc Gräfe to launch Callies Gräfe Design.

He gets his unique ideas from traveling around the world. He knows how to transform past design trends into new, customized interiors, taking into account the cultural environment. One of his works has already been honored with the DESIGN ET AL Interior Award for Private Jet Cabins.

Marc Gräfe started his professional career with an apprenticeship as a carpenter. During his years as a carpenter, he gained experience in working with various materials and developed his enthusiasm for furniture design.
In his subsequent studies at the Peter Behrends School of Arts, he was able to deepen what he had learned and expand it with the entire spectrum of architecture and interior design. After graduation, he worked for many years as an employee of the renowned architectural firm RKW.
Since 2016, he has been running the Callies Gräfe Design office together with his business partner and friend Tim Callies.
His deep connection to the craft forms the basis for inspirations and approaches to solutions down to the smallest detail. This reliability and solution-oriented work, with the highest degree of precision always lead to unique results.
 
 

Christina Perpic

Christina Perpic also studied at the Peter Behrends School of Arts (Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences) and graduated with a Master of Arts in summer 2019. Prior to Callies Gräfe Design, she gained her first experience in the architecture industry at DSV in the Krefeld branch and supported the project manager in his work. She then moved to Schwitze Project into execution planning and then joined Callies Gräfe Design during her studies to subsequently join the company full time.
Her enthusiasm for architectural and interior design came from the great diversity of this profession. To accompany a project from the first customer request to the elaboration, detailing and implementation makes this profession varied and interesting. New products, projects and jurisdictions make the profession exciting and you learn something new every day.
